You mention how there exist white people in Oakland, go to black churches and Howard university, are you implying Kamala is white? Here are examples of her participating in African American culture, and somehow this and her skin color, and having a black parent doesn’t make her black. Yes, there will always be white people who participate in African American culture, does that make every black person white?
It’s funny, I never heard anyone say these things about Barack Obama, who is arguably way more white than Kamala.
Growing up, Kamala was excluded by Indian children, who refused to play with her because she is black.
I’ve long heard that mixed racial children being discriminated against by both groups they share their identity in, but I never realized how firm the racism against such people, particularly women, was strong. She will never be considered black enough for some people, and never considered Indian enough for Indians. Infact people on this story keep using comparisons to white people when it’s about Kamala. Personally, I believe in taking a listening position in these matters, but when people full on show racism to mixed race people, It’s full on racism. The woman has the skin color of a black person, she has a black fether, went to a historically black college, grew up being discriminated against for being black, went to a black church, but that will still never be enough. Furthermore, she identifies as black. Clearly her skin color, being raised as black, being discriminated against for being bleck, having a black parent, etc, if it can be argued she’s black, than really it can be argued no one is black except African people. Racism against mixed race people, is still racism.
