YES YES YES. I have long wanted to shop for clothing that fit my body type. As a woman with Lipedema, I am an extreme pear. I am also plus sized. However, most of the women's clothing that fits me, I is aimed at apples. Apple style clothing literally hides my best features, and draws attention to my worst features. I hate it (but it looks great on apples!). I've long thought they should have separate stores, or even sections. I would love there to be a pear section of target, just like there is a junior's section, a maternity section, etc. We need an apple, pear, rectangle, triangle section and clothing that flatters our body types. And thank god someone talked about fake pockets. I HATE THOSE. Give me REAL pockets.
Even worse, I recall at one point there was an obsession with fake slits in tight skirts. Do you remember those? Like I had a short skirt, with a slit in the back to help me walk, except the slit was closed at the bottom (why???) only to have the top part still open. It looked like a weird loop in the fabric just below my but. Yeah, the slit they created so I can walk, was closed up (so it's hard to walk again), but I was still in danger of showing my under ware accidentally... to look nice? They were awful, and I had one I would wear to job interviews. It was the only black basic skirt I could fine.
Fake everything suck. Fake pockets suck, closed up walking slits suck, like don't pretend you are making the clothing comfortable and convenient for looks, actually put pockets and slits into skirts.
