Yeah, it totally feels like this is a move to highlight her as a trans woman. It's like literally a bully on the play ground yelling "See! She's trans!" then to her "You can't use the bathroom! What are you gonna do about it! What are you gonna do about it?" while getting her face. Sarah is having none of it. She's a congress person, and this trap is reducing her to just gender minority status and ignoring that she has a job to do that doesn't revolve around her being trans.
