Women want connection with a supportive competent partner. Sometimes that’s with someone with a socioeconomic status same of greater partner, sometimes it’s not. Women want caring, loving partners who are mature and have their stuff together. Saying that’s always about someone with a greater than or equal to socioeconomic status, is a gross over simplicity on and misunderstanding of the situation. It’s kind of like saying men only want to mary burnet women so blondes and redheads are out of luck (studies do show most men marry burnets and prefer to marry burnets rather than blondes or red heads).
A lot of men claim they know what women want, and have a great lack of understanding of women at all. But they claim they know what women want, get mad at them, and then tell them what they think they want.
I think you have some really good points. I’m glad you recognize modern women are not shrieking violets, and I’m glad you realize the Andrew Tate stuff is a myth. But women vary a lot, and and it’s weird when other people are telling us what we want.
