This is a good point.

There are many instances of men being abused by their female partners (physical, emotional, sexual) but it’s kept quiet and not spoken of, due to patriarchal culture. It’s somehow expected women will be abused by men, and when the tables are turned it’s ignored. Male abuse by female partners is probably highly under reported, but it’s there. It’s another way patriarchy hurts men too. This practice of ignoring abuse towards men both hurts men by gaslighting and dismissing abuse done to them, but then also victim blames women for getting abused, and hurts both genders by stereotyping all abusers as men. Men don’t want to lumped together as abusers, and women don’t want to feel in danger or be in actual danger because they love a man. Yes, I admit, it’s worse for them us because we don’t want to killed, but patriarchy hurts men too and we should all be committed to getting rid of it.
