This entire, thoughtful response, is a truly great argument for why women just stop dating men. If 90% of the men are how you describe, it makes a lot of sense why women should just leave men alone. Makes me so happy that I’m attracted to women and can leave the whole mess of having to date men alone. The whole attitude towards people being “prizes” “high value” and weird ass gender roles. And I thought love was about finding someone and making meaningful connections.
“You women are born with beauty!” Yeah right, that’s why there’s a whole economy around women’s clothes, make up, expensive hair styles, perfume, shoes!, demure behavior, skin care regiments, all ways we’re supposed to work at being attractive. We are conditioned from birth we have to work hard to be attractive, and make it look like it happens naturally. That’s why we have serious problems with anorexia, which women literally die from. That’s why women get plastic surgery. Women go to extreme lengths to be beautiful, it’s not engrained in us like you imagine. Truth is, if a woman is fat, or old, or anything else that attractive, and doesn’t fix it, we’re essentially considered invisible, failures, etc.
