The last two years I have taken over a dozen road trips all along California. Being covid I needed to get out, and driving alone in my car was the only safe way of traveling. My God this is a beautiful state. Your post captured my sentiments well.
I grew up in western Washington state, which is known for its wet, foggy, lovely climate. It’s overcast about 80% of the time there. I imagine England has a similar climate.
Yes this is a lovely state to road trip in. It’s huge, and wide, and full of so many different places. There are hundreds of undiscovered beauties here. Last week I drove to a beautiful ranch east of San Luis Obisbo and discovered another hidden gem of this state.
