So, my comment was about the specific man in the story. The story we were reading about the Incel. Here is a direct quote from the story all of this is about.
.
"The conversation started with him expressing a deep hatred towards his mom and sisters which played a massive role in his life and made him a misogynist — he admitted that very easily."
At no point in these comments did I make a generalization about incels. I was talking about this guy, who yes, happens to be an Incel.
However, he states that he hates women. I am responding to the fact he has stated he hates women. Period. At no point did I make a blanket statement about incels. I did not assume he hates women because he is an Incel.
I assumed he hated women, because the article said he hated women.
This guy is stating he hates women.
Your comment was wondering why women don't show him empathy.
Because it's hard to show empathy for a person who has stated they hate you.
It's a double standard that you expect women to show empathy for this man that hates them, but don't seem to care that he has no empathy for women.
You're the one bringing incels and feminists as groups and making blanket generalizations about the groups-not me.
It's a double standard you expect women to have empathy for someone who hates them. But don't expect those who hate them to have empathy for them at all.
