One time my period was 3 weeks late. Almost an entire cycle. I bought a pregnany test after two weeks, exactly when I would have been exactly 6 weeks pregnant and not time to schedule an abortion. It was negative and my period came a week later. I've never been regular and I often get my period a week or two late. Latert on I would learn that traveling really messes up my period regularty, as my body will often attempt to synch with my travel companions or people I am around. At the time I had been traveling for 3 weeks straight. I didn't know it then. I could easily get pregnant and not know it until weel after 6 weeks.

I'll never forget the one time my period was 1.5 weeks late, and I took a pregnancy test. Withing 5 minutes of my negative test results, I got my period. It was hilarious.
