OMG this is a nightmare for me.
I look terrible in Khankis and unisex t-shirts.
I also have sensory issues that would make wearing such pants terrible.
I can not imagine giving a presentation dressed like that. It's not professional, and it would be extremely unflattering on me. My lipedema would just bunch up the khaki and my breasts would look frumpy and droopy. I would not have a lot of confidence.
Good for you for standing up for yourself!
At the very least, they should be willing to offer a compromise. Like maybe your blouse is red to go with the others, etc.
Or why don't they just give everyone hats, or scarfs or something else? Ughhhh.
