Here’s another disturbing movie I need closure on: Spank the Monkey.
It’s a coming of age story about a young man, that, oh yeah, is seduced by his own mother, but then he rapes her? And this was all considered cool because it’s some artsy weird 90s genre? I’m confused AF.

What is it about movies being about fucked up abuse we watch for fun?

Oh, also I really hate the movie Babel, yeah, watching a horrible movie made to make you feel anxious about horrible things for no reason. No point to it either.
