Most men are good. I'd say there are probably 12 great men for the 1 rude one.

I generally trust men, but sometimes there are situations where one just has to watch their back you know? It's never a personal judgement on a person, it's just the situation we have to be careful in. If I'm walking alone at night, and a man is following me, I don't want to interact with him, and I just have my high alerts on. It's not that I think the guy is bad, it's just a dangerous situation. Same thing when women are in place where they are literally getting undressed, like a bathroom, and need a certain amount of privacy and safety. I know most men are good, but that 1 in twelve, he ruins it for everyone. I'm sorry that he does, and I know it may be hurtful for men, but it's not their fault and it's not a reflection of them. It's just you never know who that one guy is, and It's not rude or mean or cruel to just try to make situations safe.

It should be said that these obnoxious, boisterous males, often act VERY differently around men than women. So you may have known one, but they didn't show that side. I've seen men act very sweet and good when around other men and me, but when they are alone with women, it changes. People in general can be very two-faced, and sexist men may not always show you their sexism.

All in all I know most men are good, but there's that 5% that we gotta watch out for. It only takes one person to hurt another.
