Maybe the key is humility. Noah is acting very humble, but happy. He is in awe of fashion and figuring it out. He admits he is new to these ideas and doesn’t understand. His ignorance is clear, but he is humble about not knowing. And it’s focused on the woman, not himself. He’s saying how neat accesoeizing is rather than “dude, I don’t know what she did, but it was HOT! It got ME hard! Or other bs bro stuff making it about him, how it turns him on. What he was showing was genuine inspiration and wonder, about a topic. He was paying attention to what was important to her, not how it made him feel, and he did so admitting his ignorance from a place of humility. He recognized she knew more than him and not in a way that made him more powerful than him.
Maybe it’s more about how certain men are used to being positions of power, they automatically assume they know more and haven’t learnt to dial it back the way women have-thus the phenomenon if man-splaning.
