It’s scary, it really is. If I have a son, I will tell him he must wear a condom no matter what. Don’t trust your partner, you will be paying for it. Sex comes with big consequences, you gotta be prepared for it. They keep trying to make more birth control methods for men, but they cancel them due to side effects. Women have the same and worse side effects with birth control, but since pregnancy has way more side effects, these methods are considered fine on women. Men, no. Men don’t suffer any bodily harm from pregnancy, so the threshold for side effects is way lower for men, which reduces research, and reduces options for men not wanting a pregnancy. I think is sexist both ways. There should be more birth control methods for men. The medical community should take into consideration the social implications along with the physical.
Wear a condom if you’re not ready to be a dad. Sadly, that’s all men have.
