It's estimated about 11% of women have lipedema, like me. That is way more than 99% of people. There are also many other medical reasons that could cause someone to be fat. For example, Dercum's disease, hypothyroidism, medication side affects, etc. My ex-husband for example, had an excellent physique, then when he was diagnosed with schizophrenia, he took medication to manage the disease, which lead to massive weight gain. He also ate healthy and exercised, but there was literally a choice, his sanity, or his weight. I haven't seen any studies that show what percentage of people are fat due to medical issues, vs lifestyle choice. Most women with Lipedema, are misdiagnosed as obese, and are assumed to just be lazy. Most of us are undiagnosed and simply shamed for being fat, even though we have an actual medical condition we can't control. I don't see any studies, we actually don't know how many are fat for medical reasons vs lifestyle choices.

Further more D, if you are going to deal in generalities, I suggest using actual language that suggests such. For example, when you say "The only people who are fat are those who cant stop eating" clearly states you are using an all or nothing statement, not generalities. The language you used here made it very clear you are not making exceptions for me and the literally millions of other people who are fat due to medical reasons. If you "talk in generalities" then don't make all or nothing statements. It's illogical, backpedaling, and takes away from your argument.
