“It didn’t seem like you were saying they were victims of genocide in the past…”

You mention that comparing what trans people are going through to genocide is offensive to groups of people who have been through actual genocide-I stated the above comment because trans people are those people. They have been through actual genocide. So who are we offending here? Trans people have been through actual genocide? I get that you don’t think that hate crimes, including murder, and cutting of medical care for trans people is the same of genocide. However, they are a group that has experienced direct genocide in Nazi Europe, so are we afraid of offending them? They’re and actual group that has been through this, and it’s not offensive to other genocide victims to call that out.
