In my experience, I have found that many nuerotypicals struggle to understand the concept of perception vs reality, or in general they are more likely to not understand the concepts you have laid out in the article.
Literally I recall being obsessed with this exact concept around age 7, and wanting to discuss it. I recall everyone just rolling their eyes and being annoyed and explaining object permanence to me and not understanding the difference between personal truth vs reality and how that interacts with lying (is it a lie if I believe it’s true when I say it?).
Truth is nuerotypicals often struggle to understand some very basic concepts, I think it’s a mental disability they have. Problem is they don’t realize and assume because they are the majority they’re always right. Glad I’m not the only person who noticed.
