Your parents are acting like children. They have their issues, and used you to battle out their issues. They are immature attentions seeking jerks. They put you in the middle, and made their day about them, not you.

Your dad’s already a jerk.
Good parents don’t fight their battles between their kids. Your dad could have communicated, or done almost anything. He changed his mind about the speech? Like in the middle of the reception? What a jerk. And he says he doesn’t like being the center of attention, clearly he does. He hijacked the wedding day!
Your mom was inflexible, and forced you to chose. She was awful. You didn’t deserve these toddlers throwning tantrums on your big day.
