I’m not blaming the Mom. She’s feeling powerless in this situation, so this is something she can do. No, what’s happening is not her fault, but if she wants to do something she can ask the teacher what to do.
The only one blaming the Mom here is the child, who is a child and probably doesn’t know any better. It’s not the Moms fault, my comment was not to shame her bet to let her know it’s not hopeless, there are things she can do. Her post sounded like she was frustrated and feeling shamed by her lack of education. Education does not make someone a good parent, and my comment was to tell her that her lack of education doesn’t have to stand in her way of helping her daughter.
