He pretty much forced her (Meliva Einstein) to drop out of university when he got her pregnant, came up with a list of abusive rules for her to follow, abandoned her and his 3 children, and refused to pay child support for his children for 20 years. This was after she had helped him with the math involved in his theory or relativity. There's even a draft where her name appears on it. She had a famous analogy of her life with him, like sharing an oyster. One takes the pearl, the other shell.
