Im glad you wrote this article. Ive been seeing articles from people claiming that Kamala isn't black. Mostly, I hear implications that she is actually white, which is nonsense. One argument told me that growing up attending a black church, attending Howard university, being in a black sorority, doesn't make someone black because white people do that too. Well how about her skin color and her black father then? I think it's racist AF. Racism against mixed race people, is still racism.

Furthermore, I never heard any of these arguments when Barack Obama was running. He is also mixed race, he is half black, half white, yet someone Kamal is considered more white than him. This leads me to believe the racism against Kamal has an element of sexism as well.

Thank you for explaining the complexities of being biracial. It's really helpful.
