If this is the case, then there should be no problem with post-operative trans people. Your comment implies that trans people are exclusively non-opp or pre-opp. Or perhaps are you only taking about non-opp trans folk?
I’m not saying someone can “chose” their preferences. But having a sexual preference is different than an orientation. For example, I’ve known many people who say that aren’t sexually attracted to a specific race. Some even cite (what they assume) are anatomical differences of said race group as a reason why. While they may have a preference for that race group, is “all men, but (insert race here) because they have (small, big, whatever) penises” a sexual orientation? Even if said group does have a penis (such as a post-opp trans man)? No, that’s a preference for a type of penis. I’m not saying people should “change” their preferences. But preferring a type of penis isn’t and orientation, it’s a preference, and I’m not telling people to change anything about their attraction by pointing out the difference.
