I work in special education. I’m pretty sure adult women, with learning disabilities, know they have a cervix. So do people who don’t speak English. Knowing the anatomy of your body is not connected to the English language! Nor is it connected to LD. People with LD are not incapable of Lear I g about their own bodies! Neither are people who speak other languages! That’s very ignorant if you ask me.
Yes, I’m sure somewhere there are some women who don’t understand what a cervix is, but that’s not because of a LD. Pretty awful that tweet.
