I used to love watching this show and making fun of it. My former roommate and I loved laughing at all the weird bs in it. You forgot to mention how controlling and word Lucy’s boyfriend and later husband was. Remember how weird Lucy got when her husband got a female partner at work? Suddenly there was a community wide obsession over if someone likes board games or not. So weird. Or how Lucy and Mary really enjoyed making out with boys in the couch in front of their dad. No one likes making in front of their dad.
Don’t forget how weird they all got around voting season. They literally all called each other all over the country yelling at each other to vote.

My roommate and I always hoped Ruthie would grow up to be a lesbian. That would go well with her more direct attitude, and throw them all a curve ball.
