I started going braless about 10 years ago and it’s one of the best choices I made for myself. I’m a size DD and it feels way better for me.
I got nothing against women who do wear bras, but as you said it should be a personal choice. I chose not to and it should be fine.I do wear sports bras when exercising and that is helpful.
However, I know I could be fired for this.
I know people judge me for this.
It’s crazy.
I once had a doctor examine my back after I was in a car accident.
“Were you wearing a bra during the accident?” She asked me.
I told her no, then was curious if that would have lessened my whiplash.
She never told me, instead she explained that women of my size often find bras uncomfortable because we are hard to fit. She then explained that if this is the case that I am a candidate for reduction surgery. I was horrified.
True, several women in my family have had breast reduction surgery, and I support that, but I’m not into that route. Imagine getting invasive surgery just because most bras aren’t made to fit your body! How is that a viable solution here? Bras should be made to fit women, not the other way around. I’d rather just go without. Women should be able to do what they feel is best for their bodies. I hope no other doctor give me unsolicited information on breast reduction surgery. Ewe.
