I respectfully disagree. I think it’s possible to disagree with misogyny and not hate men. I think men are also victims of misogyny and patriarchal thinking and its narrow gender roles. Patriarchy oppressed men as well, true it oppresses women a lot more, but I think it’s more complex than the stamens “men oppressing women.” I don’t think modern men chose to be in this system any more than I did, and I think it’s a toxic system for just about everyone. I think it’s possible to hate a system, and ideology and not hate the actual people who are in the system as they didn’t exactly chose that fate.
In a similar example, I consider myself anti racist and believe in rights for minorities, but I don’t hate white people. I also know a number of people who are black, Asian, and Native American who are anti racist and don’t hate white people-even though white people are literally the oppressor. I think disagreeing with an ideology such as racism, patriarchy and fighting for equal rights is not the same as hating someone. One does not imply the other.
