I read this book in college and loved it.
It wasn't in my class, but I had this love of literature so I would scour the university bookstore and find the literature in other sections of English 101. I found this one and read it hungrily. I've been starving to hear good analsys of it.
As a mother, I feel like your analsys is very relevant to me.
Recently, in therapy, I realized I have a deep-seated self-hatred. Not for my appearance (though I struggle accepting my lipedema) but around myself for other reasons. I realize it's vitally important to not pass this onto my daughter.
