I mean there are some good points here. People have multiple ways of communicating.

Also, the consent of men is very important and often not talked about. Men do get raped and are often not asked for consent. I'm glad you are starting this conversation.

However, this problem is pretty nuanced and it's being talked about very black and white.

People walking down the street are often silent, does that mean I can go up to them and start touching them. They aren't speaking to me, if silence is consent, then they aren consenting to me giving them sexual contact.

I'm pretty sure if I did this to enough people, one person would be so shocked they would freeze and be completely stunned. Is that consent then?

Also, there are times when people can't speak. There is the trauma response of freeze, and this often happens when people are being raped.
