I like your article, it is thought provking. FYI, I've found that most people in the trans community prefered the phrase trans women (space between), to show that trans is an adjective attached to the noun, woman. Kind of like I am a red-headed woman, instead of a red-headedwoman. Or my grandmother is an old woman, vs an oldwoman and knows other old women vs oldwomen. Transwoman/transwomen indicates the word is noun, and there fore a differen type of object, as apposed to simply woman with an adjective modifying it. Of course not everyone agrees with me, but just wanted to pass on this tidbit when writing about trans issues.
