I knew a trans woman who used the men’s room because she didn’t want to make anyone uncomfortable, and she lived in one of those states. After about a year into her transition, a man tried to rape her while she was in there. After three she just stopped using the bathroom and went out very little. She came here to CA where she was free to use the right bathroom, she still gets harassed occasionally.
