I imagine it was probably worded differently, and that’s where the confusion was. Perhaps it said something like “assist the manager with matters regarding —— as needed” or possibly “support the representative in the transition of ——.”
Maybe the guy is a therapist or social worker and can’t stand listening to female clients? I can see him being a therapist and hating having to listen/help female clients. I’d so, maybe he should be a therapist, or maybe be one who focuses on men’s issues. Perhaps he is a representative and has to meet with clients and many of them are female? I wish I knew what he meant by giving attention to women is his job. I would assume if whatever he’s doing that involves giving attention to women he was informed of ahead of time. Maybe he’s a sales person? When I worked in sales I found just listening to people and supporting them often lead to them buying whatever I was selling. Maybe he hates doing that with women? It’s generally not a job description( giving women attention, so it must be hidden in some other expectation, maybe he didn’t understand what that expectation entitled?
