I had trouble with breast feeding, but not with milk production. I ended up pumping then bottle feeding with pumped breast milk. In terms of labor, it’s kind of the worst on both worlds, but it was what worked for me and my daughter for multiple reasons. She did breast feed for the first 3 months, then we pumped and bottled until she was 22 months.
One other advantage of bottle feeding I found, is diet. After I stopped pumping I could return to low-carb diet that I normally live on. While pregnant and breastfeeding, that wasn’t healthy for me or her. Now that I’m back in my low carb lifestyle I feel so much better, have more energy, and am able to exercise more. Which is so vital.
