I find this powerful.
Sometimes things really upset me, they do. I know life would be better if I just brushed things off, but I don’t, even when I try.
There’s something freeing in these words. Yeah, sometimes I get offended at awful things, and I’m so tired of it being shoved under the rug and ignored.

The racism and blatant disrespect sickens me. I cant even imagine what it was like for you. Your reaction and feelings here are very well founded and need to be respected. Women, we are used to making ourselves and our emotions smaller for others, black women I’m sure are expected to do this even more. I think it’s healthy to be upset.
There’s something powerful in lot brushing something off and admitting it’s awful.
Any sane person would have a strong reaction to racism, x10 if you’re black person actually experiencing it.
