I do hear that complaint a lot! That men have to do more work when asking women out and it's expected on them. It's pretty annoying.

I just figure it's part of being an adult. If you want to date someone, you ask them out. This whole expecting which gender to ask out who things is totally outdated and unhelpful. If you want something in life, you go for it, instead of waiting for someone else to do the work for you.

I've read many a medium article here where men talk about how much pressure they feel. I'm sure that's a real thing for them. But as for any adult, we just need to go out and go for what we want and take responsibility for it. I'm sure men have their struggles, but complaining about having to be proactive in the dating world is quite childish of them.
