I disagree. I have a disease called lipedema. Lipedeam causes large amounts of fat to accumulate on my body in certain places. Lipedema fat is resistant to diet and exercise, it can't be removed via diet and exercise, and isn't caused by poor diet or lack of exercise.

I am very active, I exercise a lot, and live a low-carb lifestyle. But I am very fat thanks to the lipedema. People constantly judge my body and assume I am unhealthy. It really helps me to see women who are large like me, but also healthy. being fat isn't necessarily unhealthy, lipedema is not associated with the heart disease, diabetes, and other health issues that obesity has. There are limited things I can do about my lipedema, I would love to have it surgically removed, but it would cost at least 50K and insurances doesn't cover it. I am doing everything I can about it, yet I feel society shames me constantly for being as fat as I am.

Yes, like me you can be healthy, fit, eat a very healthy lifestyle, and be very fat. Sadly my lipedma has left me now at 225 lbs, and it will probably get worse when I hit menopause (it's connected to hormone changes). Women like me benefit from larger women sharing their stories about being healthy and large.
