I agree there needs to be more spaces for men to deal with shame and guilt.

However, pointing out rape statistics isn't man bashing. Are we supposed to erase rape to make men feel better?

Truth is, if a man isn't a rapist, he won't take rape statistics personally. If anything he will be angry at his fellow man. If a man isn't a rapist, he has nothing to feel guilty about. Don't be one, don't feel guilty. If a man feels victimized by hearing rape statistics, he is identifying with the rapist. Let's teach men to not identify as rapists. A man who isn't a rapist, will be angered that other people are rapists and will feel against that.
