Have you heard of the tolerance paradox? Because I think you might be using that here. Tolerance and acceptance only work if you don’t tolerate intolerance. If you tolerate someone who doesn’t tolerate others, you have brought intolerance into the picture.
For example, I don’t tolerate people who believe in killing Jewish people. I know it sounds contradictory, but if I tolerate someone who doesn’t tolerate Jewish people living, I am then tolerating murder of someone who is different. That the would make me in tolerant. So, if you tolerate in tolerance, you have stopped being tolerent.
Also, it should be noted the concept of free will and choices. Trans people do not chose to be trans, it’s not something they can change. However, people who hate very much have a choice. People chose to hate. So asking to tolerate those who hate others for being different, is very different than tolerating someone who is different and has no control over it.
