Great article!

I would also like to add that adoption is expensive. In California, where I live, average adoption is 50k.

As someone who wants to become a mother, it is cheaper for me to undergo multiple rounds of IVF than it is to adopt a child.

Not to mention, it can take years and years to find a child to adopt, and a person like me could be rejected for a variety of reasons. I don't think I would even qualify to become a foster parent.

I know a number of people who have adopted and fostered. It was a long, expensive, tedious process. These people who say they will adopt your baby, probably have not been through all of this. If they can afford 50k per child, they must be pretty darn rich.
