Great article!

Growing up, I loved chuch. I never went with my parents though, I went with my grandma while parents stayed home and got some badly needed 'me time' with their kids out of the house.

If they have relatives or friends nearby, I suggest dropping them off there for the few hours of church. I think it would be a great time to bond with grandparents.

It could be they don't like church because they go with you. I liked the independence of going to church by myself, or with someone I wanted to spend more time with. I often went with my friends, ect.

I would suggest let them pick out a church they are interested in, arrange for them to go with an adult friend you trust, and trust them to chose for themselves. They might value the independence.

Meanwhile keep going to your church and enjoying your experience.
