Good article! Women are often told we don’t need a man and to focus on ourselves, and we do. I think men should be entitled to this attitude as well. It’s the paradox of socialization, once you learn to take care of yourself, and develop yourself, you’re more attractive to others. The more you want someone, partner, friend, the more desperate, the more people get the creeps.
We are people who work hard to take care of ourselves, and want partners, not need them. We get attracted to others who are like us, work hard at life to be happy, and want others not need them. It feels more even and balanced then.
