Funny, for all the talk of double standards here, I have yet to see anyone talk about Men's body counts. When I do, it's usually high. I heard one man on a date tell his date he had a body count of 35. He asked for her's, it was 4, he told that was way to many and he wasn't interested. She told him his was way too high and he responded with "It's just different, and you know it is."

I do get your point of wanting sexual exclusivity, wanting someone with a similar body count as you have, but then why do so many men want a high body count for themselves but not for their partners?

Your last paragraph talks about personal values and partners who value sexual exclusivity as much as they do, but then if that's the case, men should want someone with a similar body count as them, not less.

Why is this a standard men believe they can ask of women, but doesn't apply to them?

If people believe that multiple past partners impacts your ability to love a current partner, then that standard is true for men as well as women.
