Cat calling is very different than making a move. Also harassment is very different than making a move.

I’ll never forget how one time a man came up to me and asked me out, and I said no, he responded with “thanks, have a good day” and left. I was pleasantly floored. I’d interacted with so many men who had after being rejected responded with anger, threats of violence, insults, verbal abuse, or harassment. It’s okay to ask someone out, but respecting a persons right to say no is really important. I think women we want the right to say no with our the threats against our safety, or harassment, etc. it can be scary to say no, so many women are super polite and indirect. Then we’re leading them on!
